Dare commissioners weigh in – again -- on replacing the Bonner Bridge and conservationists
Chairman of the Dare County Board of Commissioners Warren Judge and vice-chairman Allen Burrus of Hatteras Island update the progress of the Bonner Bridge replacement project and talk once more about the importance of replacing the bridge, Hatteras Island’s only land link, to the rest of the county and state.
Also Burrus has some sharp words for conservationists and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service managers, who oppose the current plan for replacing the span across Oregon Inlet.
