Outer Banks
Angling: Exploring the islands with kayaks
By ROB
ALDERMAN
I am constantly asked about the fishing in this area and what there is
to do. But the real question should be—what is there not to
do?
Visitors to the Outer Banks are only limited by their own inhibitions
when it comes to exploring our waters. They should be
prepared to try anything and not limit themselves to what they might
think is traditional beach time. There are endless exploring options
that family or friends of all ages can do and enjoy as a whole.
One of them is exploring waters of Hatteras and Ocracoke islands with
kayaks. You can fish, clam, wade around in the shallows to
search for creatures, such as hermit crabs or sand dollars, or you can
just relax and enjoy the scenery.
So rather than try to explain it—I will show you just what I
am talking about with the following video.
Enjoy.
