 Spa Koru makes donation to Kiwanis Club Grace Souter, assistant director of Spa Koru in Avon, presents a check for $150 to Norm Campbell, treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Hatteras Island. The employees at Spa Koru decided that instead of doing a "secret Santa" and exchanging gifts for Christmas that they would all toss the money into a pot and donate it to a worthwhile organization on Hatteras Island. The Kiwanis Club’s stated purpose is to improve the quality of life for children and families on Hatteras Island. The Kiwanis Club thanks Spa Koru.
