Spa Koru makes donation to Kiwanis Club

Grace Souter, assistant director of Spa Koru in Avon, presents a check for $150 to Norm Campbell, treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Hatteras Island.  The employees at Spa Koru decided that instead of doing a "secret Santa" and exchanging gifts for Christmas that they would all toss the money into a pot and donate it to a worthwhile organization on Hatteras Island.  The Kiwanis Club’s stated purpose is to improve the quality of life for children and families on Hatteras Island.  The Kiwanis Club thanks Spa Koru.

The Kiwanis Club of Hatteras Island meets each Wednesday at 7:45 am at the Frisco Woods Campground in Frisco. Our web site address is www.hatteras-kiwanis.org.
