‘My House is Worth What?’ TV show is coming to Hatteras Island

With the current ebb and flow of the real estate market, many
homeowners want to find out the value of their home. Is it
beneficial to sell or renovate? Did that past remodeling project
really increase the home’s worth?
“My House Is Worth What?” evaluates home values all over
the U.S. and educates homeowners about their home’s potential
worth. Along the way, viewers get a whirlwind tour of cities and
towns across America and find out about the different housing markets.
In each city, real estate experts provide homeowners with their
expertise and evaluate each home’s worth by looking at the local
market and community. Homeowners invite viewers and a local real
estate expert into their homes and show them around, explaining why
they bought the house and their plans for it. Viewers learn the current
market value of each home and the considerations that affect its price.
The show is looking for homeowners on Hatteras Island who are
interested in finding out the current market value of their home and
sharing their story with viewers. The producers are seeking
homeowners who have lived in their house or condo at least one year and
who have made some renovations since moving in. Homes currently
listed on the market cannot be considered. Homeowners chose n
to appear on the show receive a free evaluation of the current market
price of their home by a local real estate expert.
Selected homeowners would be needed for one day of taping between July
28 and Aug. 4. If you’re interested in appearing on the show,
please fill out our online application at http://www.pietown.tv/Shows/mhiww.html or send an e-mail and tell your story. Give a brief description
of your home and family, the renovations you’ve done to the home
since you moved in and why you want to know how much your house is
worth. Feel free to attach a photo of your home and/or
family. The e-mail address is myhouse@pietown.tv
Hosted by real estate professional and winner of “The
Apprentice” season three TV show, Kendra Todd, “My House Is
Worth What?” airs seven days a week on HGTV. Premiere
episodes air on Sundays at 7 p.m. and Tuesdays at 11 p.m., with encore
